Great Hill
Date 25/3/2019
Starting Point White Coppice (SD614 180)
Distance 3 miles

Today was a beautiful March day and so we chose to do Great Hill again. The views were superb.

It's not often I use the main path to get to Coppice Stile these days, but today I did and the views behind us were stunning

As the path passed Coppice Stile, the views of the moors opened up before us - just beautiful

As we return this is the view behind us to Great Hill

Looking across to Black Coppice Quarry we saw two bikers descending the extremely steep quarry edge. Needless to say they had to carry their bikes as that path is not ridable
